The Costa Menu in 2026: Drinks, Food, Prices and Festive Specials Explained

The Costa menu is bigger than most regulars realise. Open the official menu page today and you will find 145 items, made up of 57 drinks and 88 food and snack lines, spread across 12 sections. They run from a plain espresso to a Black Forest Yule Log. This guide walks through the whole Costa menu UK customers can order from in late October 2026, explains what each section is good for, and shows how to read the prices, calories and allergen details that come with it.

Whether you search for the Costa coffee menu or simply the Costa menu, the information below was checked against Costa’s own website on 27 October 2026. It covers the Costa UK menu only, because recipes and ranges in other countries can differ. Seasonal lines change quickly, so treat this as a snapshot and confirm anything important in the Costa app or in store.

One thing to know before you plan an order: the menu page on Costa’s website is built around items, nutrition and allergens, prices are set store by store, which is why this guide gives typical ranges rather than one fixed figure. The Costa app or the till will always show the real price.

The core coffees: six drinks everything else is built on

Costa’s own “greatest hits” are six espresso classics, and most of the Coffee section is a variation on one of them. Costa’s coffees are built on its Mocha Italia blend, the signature taste printed on the brand stamp.

DrinkWhat sets it apartPick it when you want
LatteEspresso topped up with creamy milk or a dairy alternative, served hot or icedA mellow, milky coffee
Flat WhiteEspresso with velvety milk, finished with a hand-poured floretteA smooth drink where the coffee still leads
CappuccinoEspresso, foamed milk and an optional chocolate dusting, hot or icedSomething light and frothy
AmericanoEspresso softened with hot water, with milk on the side if you likeA long drink with very few calories
EspressoOne short, intense shotA quick hit
CortadoEspresso with a small amount of textured milk, topped with a little heartA small, rich drink

The rest of the Coffee section adds the flavoured and seasonal drinks: Signature Latte, Mocha, Caramel Macchiato and the Spanish Latte, which is among the most searched drinks on the whole menu. The costa spanish latte also has an iced twin in the Coffee Over Ice section. For Christmas the section gains the Caramel Nutcracker Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Golden Hazel Latte with Ferrero Rocher® and the Ultimate Yule Brownie Chocolate Latte.

Hot chocolate and other hot drinks

The Other Hot Drinks section is where the comfort drinks live. Alongside Hot Chocolate, White Hot Chocolate, Chai Latte and the Milk Babyccino for little ones, there are three festive specials: Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Hot Chocolate, the Ultimate Yule Brownie Hot Chocolate, and the black forest hot chocolate Costa has brought back for the season.

Anyone browsing Costa coffee hot chocolate options should remember that these are the richest drinks on the menu. They are made with chocolate sauce and usually finished with cream, so they sit at the higher end for calories. A standard Costa hot chocolate typically costs a little under £5, and the festive versions cost more.

Frappés, iced coffee and matcha

The Costa frappe range has seven drinks, and four of them come in pairs: Salted Caramel and Chocolate Fudge are each offered with or without coffee. That makes the Costa frappe line useful for anyone who wants the dessert-style drink without the caffeine. The other three are the Tropical Mango Bubble Frappé, the Strawberry Drizzle Frappé and the Coffee Frappé.

Coffee Over Ice has twelve drinks. Most are chilled versions of the hot classics: Iced Latte, Iced Cappuccino, Iced Flat White, Iced Mocha and Iced Chai Latte. You can also choose a black or white Iced Americano, the Caramel Iced Whipped Latte, the White Chocolate Iced Whipped Latte, the Iced Caramel Macchiato and the festive Caramel Nutcracker Iced Latte. The black Iced Americano is one of the lightest drinks on the menu at around 18 kcal.

Matcha has its own small corner. Costa matcha appears four ways: the hot Matcha Latte in the Tea section, and the Iced Matcha Latte, Strawberry Coconut Matcha Iced Latte and new Gingerbread Iced Matcha in Iced Tea. The first three appear under the vegan filter when made with a plant-based milk.

Away from coffee, the Strawberry, Watermelon & Mint Refresher (new), Peach Ice Tea and two Fruit Coolers cover the fruity side. The Mango & Passion Fruit Cooler is around 165 kcal and the Red Summer Berries cooler around 218 kcal, so “fruity” does not always mean light.

Teas and infusions

The Tea section is short but varied: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Decaf, Green and Mint teas, plus the Berry Infusion, Citrus Zing with Vitamin C, Spiced Apple with Vitamin B6 and the new Pure Chamomile Infusion. Plain teas contain only a few calories before any milk is added, and every one of them is on the vegan list.

Breakfast: baps, croissants and porridge

The breakfast section has eleven items. The hot options are the Sausage Bap (around 515 kcal), Smoked Bap (around 343 kcal) and Egg & Mushroom Bap (around 339 kcal). There are two croissant fillings, Tomato & Mature Cheddar and Wiltshire Mature Cheddar, plus the All Day Breakfast Wrap. Lighter choices include the Greek Style Yogurt with Berry Compote & Granola, Wholegrain Jumbo Oats Porridge, Instant Wholegrain Porridge, and Seeded Brown or White Toast.

Costa’s website currently advertises a Costa breakfast deal from £7.74 before 11am, with terms and conditions attached. Bundles and prices can differ by store and by how you order, so check the app before you set off. The Costa breakfast menu is aimed at the morning, which is why several items, including the baps, both toasts and the plain croissant, carry a “breakfast deal” badge on the menu page.

Lunch: toasties, paninis, wraps and hot boxes

With 26 items, Lunch is the biggest food section. It breaks down like this:

  • Toasties: Four Cheese, Mature Cheddar & Roasted Tomato, Wiltshire Mature Cheddar, Philly Cheesesteak, Nacho Chilli Cheese & Chicken, Heinz Beanz & Cheese (around 321 kcal), a Vegan & Cheeze Toastie and a Gluten Free Mozzarella & Pesto Toastie.
  • Paninis: Tuna Melt (around 462 kcal), Brie, Cranberry, and Mozzarella, Roasted Tomato & Pesto.
  • Wraps and sandwiches: Chicken Fajita Wrap (around 407 kcal), Free Range Egg Mayo, BLT, Prawn Mayo (around 280 kcal) and Roast Chicken Salad.
  • Hot boxes: Mac & Cheese, Blankets ‘Nduja Mac & Cheese and Chicken & Spicy Korean Style Rice.
  • Sides and extras: Cheese Bites, Cheese Triangles and the Apple Sausage Roll.

Festive additions include the Festive Flatbread, the Festive Feast Toastie and the Blankets Toastie. Anyone planning a quick lunch can pair a toastie with a drink and use the Costa coffee deal offers in the app, covered below.

Pastries, sweets and snacks

The Pastries & Sweets section has 32 items. The everyday staples are the Croissant (around 246 kcal), Pain Au Chocolat, Almond Croissant, Cinnamon Bun, Blueberry Muffin and Lemon Muffin (around 399 kcal), along with cookies, tiffins, Millionaire’s Shortbread and the Bakewell Tart. For something bigger there are the Carrot & Walnut Cake, Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake, Triple Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake and Biscoff Cheezecake.

The newer and festive items include the Dubai Style Speculoos Tiffin, Toffee Apple Crumble, Black Forest Yule Log, Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake, Chocolate Brownie, Festive Spice Muffin, All Butter Mince Pie, Mince Tart and the Iced Ghost Gingerbread Biscuit.

The 19 Snacks cover fruit (Apple Slices, Watermelon, Dried Mango), Fruit & Nut Mix, Tyrrells and Popchips crisps, biscuits, shortbreads, Caramel Waffles, a Bounce Peanut Protein Ball and a three-piece Ferrero Rocher pack. The Oaty Flapjack, at around 256 kcal, is listed as free from gluten and milk in store listings, and the menu also includes a Gluten Free Millionaire’s Shortbread and Belgian Chocolate Brownie.

Seasonal and festive specials

The Costa menu page marks many items “New” or “I’m Back” and, at the time of writing, it is dominated by Christmas lines. If you came looking for the Costa autumn menu, the official page has moved on to the festive range. Here is what the Costa Christmas drinks and food lineup looks like on the official menu:

  • Festive coffees: Caramel Nutcracker Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Golden Hazel Latte with Ferrero Rocher®, Ultimate Yule Brownie Chocolate Latte.
  • Festive hot chocolates: Black Forest, Terry’s Chocolate Orange® and Ultimate Yule Brownie.
  • Festive iced drinks: Caramel Nutcracker Iced Latte and Gingerbread Iced Matcha.
  • Festive savoury: Festive Flatbread, Festive Feast Toastie, Blankets Toastie, Blankets ‘Nduja Mac & Cheese and the Brie & Cranberry Panini.
  • Festive sweet: Festive Spice Muffin, Black Forest Yule Log, All Butter Mince Pie and Mince Tart.

The Costa coffee Christmas menu changes every year, so a favourite from one season is never guaranteed to return in the next. Summer works the same way, with iced drinks, refreshers and lighter food taking over the page.

How much does Costa cost?

Because the Costa menu on the website does not show prices, most people search for a Costa menu with prices or a list of Costa coffee prices. The ranges below are typical in-store figures from our own price list. They are approximate, they vary by location, and delivery orders are often higher.

Seasonal drinks usually cost more than the core range. Our full price list has every item with its price and calories.

Costa prices can drop when you use the Costa Club. Costa says members get offers made for them, such as 20% off coffee, cheaper pastries and sandwich deals, and the breakfast bundle is another way to pay less.

Calories and healthier choices

Costa’s menu page reminds visitors that adults need around 2,000 kcal a day, and it links to a nutrition guide for every item. Costa also says its core coffee range contains no added sugar. Sugar and calories climb with syrups, sauces, whipped cream and bigger sizes, so those are the places to adjust.

Look for the green Healthier Choice badge on the menu page. When we checked it appeared on the Egg & Mushroom Bap, both porridges, the Heinz Beanz & Cheese Toastie, the Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich, the Free Range Egg Mayo Sandwich and the vegan toastie. Healthier Choice items are subject to store availability.

Easy ways to lighten an order include choosing a smaller size, picking a skimmed or plant-based milk, asking for no cream, or ordering an Americano, tea or black Iced Americano. Our calorie guide goes into more detail.

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergen options

The Costa menu page has diet and allergen filters, which is the fastest way to narrow the list.

FilterItems shown
Vegetarian119
Vegan44
No milk43
No cereals containing gluten59
No egg89
No soybeans91
No tree nut101
No peanut138

Those counts will move as the seasonal items change. Two points matter more than the numbers:

  • “Vegan” does not mean “allergen-free”. Costa warns that vegan products may not suit people with allergies, and nothing prepared in a busy store can be guaranteed free from cross-contamination.
  • Some drinks cannot be made dairy-free. Where a sauce or topping contains milk, the drink carries a warning even if you choose a plant-based milk. Many Costa drinks can be made with a coconut, soya or oat alternative, and these should arrive with a sticker on the lid or napkin.

Costa declares the 14 major UK allergens, and the in-store process has five steps: tell the barista, they show you the printed allergen guide, they explain how the order will be prepared, you confirm, and then it is made. Costa says its syrups contain none of the 14 major allergens, but sauces and other ingredients can, so always declare your allergy. Our allergen guide and vegan menu pages cover this in more depth.

Ordering through the Costa app and Costa Club

The Costa app is the easiest way to see current prices, order ahead and skip the queue, and it is where you can check how much your usual Costa drinks cost at your nearest store. Costa Club, its loyalty scheme, runs through the app. According to Costa’s Club page:

  • You get a first Bean when you join, then earn Beans with purchases.
  • Buy 10, get 1 free: after 10 Beans, your next drink is free.
  • Members get personalised offers, a free cake on their birthday, and a bonus Bean each time they bring a reusable cup.
  • A referral gives you and your friend 5 Beans each after their first purchase.

If you already hold a Costa Club card from a store, Costa lets you create an account with it online. Our Costa app guide explains how to set it up.
